que

The Spanish word 'que' is used as 'what' in English during interrogative sentences to ask questions or as a relative pronoun in statements. It can be used at the beginning of a sentence or even in between, similar to how 'what' is used in English. For example, ¿Qué quieres decir? meaning 'What do you want to say?'

Here's how to use it:

  • Espero que te guste.
  • El regalo que me diste es increíble.
  • Hay algo que quiero decirte.

reflexión

The Spanish word for reflection is 'reflexión'. It is used similarly to how it is used in English; to indicate the mirroring of light or other waves, or to suggest deep thought or consideration about something.

Here's how to use it:

  • La reflexión es una parte crucial del aprendizaje.
  • La reflexión en el espejo estaba distorsionada.
  • La reflexión mental es tan importante como el ejercicio físico.

nota

Nota represents the 'Note' in English. It's a sign which symbolizes the relative duration and pitch of a sound.

Here's how to use it:

  • La nota de crédito está en el correo.
  • Su nota en el examen fue excelente.
  • ¿Has tomado nota de los cambios?

traer

The Spanish word 'traer' means 'bring' in English. It is a regular verb of Spanish language and it is widely used to denote the action of bringing something from one place to another. For example, 'Puedes traer el libro?' translates to 'Can you bring the book?' In the past tense it is 'trajo', future tense is 'traerá' and the present tense is 'trae'.

Here's how to use it:

  • Ella siempre trae postres deliciosos a la oficina.
  • Trae tu paraguas por si llueve.
  • Mi idea es traer a un experto para resolver el problema.
