For the last few weeks we have been adding images to many of our vocab words in all languages.
It's not a huge feature, but I often find it adding a smile to my face when there's a nice picture to go with the word I'm learning.
For example, here is what the Italian word figlia looks like:

Where are the visuals sourced from?
Nearly all of the photos are sourced from Unsplash, which has a permissive license for our use. For this brilliant source of photos, I'm always grateful. 🙏

I've had to automate adding photos to our library of nearly 50,000 words in different languages, supplemented with some human review.
It's not a perfect system by any means, so there are quite a few examples where the images may not make perfect sense for the word it's trying to describe. Let me know if you find one of these!
